Star Ruby Diamond Gold Ring Tiffany & Co.
Vintage star ruby and diamond ring by Tiffany & Co. Set centrally with an oval cabochon natural unenhanced Burmese star ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.47 carats, flanked by two hexagonal step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats and further enhanced by six round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.92 carats, to a fancy three stone design with a finely pierced gallery and geometric backholing, the diamond set shoulders proceeding to a ridged tapering D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold, signed ”TIFFANY & CO.”, French, circa 1970, accompanied by Carat Gem Lab report #CGL11698. UK finger size L.
