Tiffany & Co. Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. Centrally set with a rectangular step cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back tension setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.70 carats, set to top, bottom and sides with eight rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover and channel settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats, further decorated with sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.35 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.45 carats, to a stylish symmetrical rectangular cluster featuring polished borders, pierced open linear gallery and geometric backholing, the raised open trumpeting shoulders curve to a solid squared shank. Marked platinum and iridium, signed ”TIFFANY & CO.”, American, circa 1930. UK finger size K 1/2.
