The design was created as the fifth-generation effigy, but serves as the sixth-generation effigy on Australian coins. It depicts the Queen in right-profile relief with the George IV State Diadem Crown.

This design shows the tiger walking along the edge of a rocky cliff using its massive paws to grip the edge of the rocks.
