The coin’s obverse features the Pillars of Hercules with the inscription “FELIPE VI RE DE ESPAÑA, “1 ONZA,” and 999,9 ORO.” On the pillars is inscribed “PLUS VLTRA,” which means “further beyond” in Latin. The top center features a security mark at the top center.
